Master Thesis The Mediating Role of Anxiety in the Relationship between Self-Compassion and Flow in Adult Athletes(2025) Yalduz, Olgun Cem; Aşçı, Fevziye Hülya; Urfa, OsmanGiriş: Optimal performans duygu durum, sporcuların duyguları, düşünceleri, davranışları ve atletik performanslarıyla ilişkilidir. Bu çalışmada, sporcularda optimal performans duygu durumu, açıklamada öz-şefkat ve kaygının rolünü incelemek amacıyla bir aracılık modeli oluşturulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, öz-şefkat ile optimal performans duygu durum arasındaki ilişkide kaygının (bedensel kaygı, endişe ve konsantrasyon bozulması) aracı rolünü yetişkin sporcularda incelemektir. Yöntem: Çalışmaya 188'i erkek (X̅ yaş= 22.18±4.79) ve 113'ü kadın (X̅yaş= 20.64±3.21) olmak üzere toplam 301 yetişkin sporcu (X̅yaş= 21.60±4.32) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Veri toplama için Sürekli Optimal Performans Duygu Durum Ölçegi-2 Kısa Formu, Sporcu Öz Şefkat Ölçeği Kısa Formu, Sporda Kaygı Ölçeği-2 kullanılmıştır. Aracılık modeli, ön yükleme ve %95 güven aralığı ile PROCESS makrosu kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Analiz sonuçlarına göre öz şefkatin somatik kaygı (B= -0,275, p<0,001), endişe (B= -0,309, p<0,001) ve konsantrasyon bozukluğu (B= -0,318, p<0,001) üzerindeki doğrudan etkisi negatif ve anlamlıdır. Optimal performans duygu durum üzerinde somatik kaygı (B= -0,003, p>0,05) ve endişenin (B= 0,132, p>0,05) doğrudan etkileri anlamlı değilken, konsantrasyon bozukluğunun (B= -0,233, p<0,01) doğrudan etkileri anlamlıdır. Optimal performans duygu durum üzerinde hem öz-şefkatin doğrudan etkisi (B= 0.29, p< 0.001) hem de konsantrasyon bozukluğu aracılığıyla dolaylı etkisi (B= 0.07, %95 GA [0.025 – 0.129]) anlamlı bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Optimal performans duygu durum ile öz şefkat ve kaygı arasında anlamlı ve pozitif ilişki vardır. Yine öz şefkatin; sporcuların kaygı düzeylerini düşürmede ve optimal performans duygu durumu artırmada önemli bir paydaş olduğu söylenebilir.Master Thesis Spor Liselerinde Öğrenim Gören Öğrencilerin Beden Eğitimi Dersine Karşı Tutumlarının Sportmenlik Davranışlarına Olan Etkisinin Incelenmesi(2025) Çakır, Eren Bora; Terekli, Mustafa SerdarThis study was conducted in order to examine how the interest of students studying in sports high schools in physical education and sports lessons, the way they perceive the lesson and their attitudes towards the lesson shape and affect their sportsmanship behavior. The research was conducted with 210 participants studying at official sports high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Istanbul between 01/10/2024 and Dec 25/11/2024. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences-IBM, Chicago, IL, USA) program was used in the statistical analysis of the data obtained in the research. According to the results of the study, it was found that gender did not make a significant difference on the students' sportsmanship behaviors. Differences in sportsmanship attitudes were found according to the class level; especially 9. and 12. Attitudes of grade students, 10. and 11. it has been observed that it remains at a lower level compared to classroom students. It has been observed that the maternal education level has a significant effect on the students' sportsmanship behaviors, and it has been determined that the children of mothers with undergraduate and graduate education levels exhibit positive attitudes. On the other hand, no significant difference was found in terms of the father's educational level or sports playing status. It has been found that students whose mothers do sports have higher sportsmanship and physical education lesson attitudes compared to the children of mothers who do not do sports. In the regression analysis results, it was found that cognitive activity has a significant and positive effect on sportsmanship behaviors, while affective and behavioral elements of activity are not significant. It has been determined that general attitudes related to physical education lessons contribute to the development of sportsmanship awareness and behavior. These findings show that the elements that will increase cognitive awareness should be emphasized in the content of physical education courses in sports high schools and that family participation is an important factor in the process of creating sportsmanship awareness.Master Thesis Investigation of the Effect of Six Weeks of Integrated Plyometric Exercise Intervention on Vertical Jump Performance of 16- 18 Age Group Male Football Players(2025) Bayram, Mehmet; Pınar, SalihABSTRACT Title of Thesis: Investigation of the Effect of Six Weeks of Integrated Plyometric Exercise Intervention on Vertical Jump Performance of 16- 18 Age Group Male Football Players Student Name, Surname: Mehmet BAYRAM Supervisor Title, Name, Surname: Prof. Dr. Salih PINAR Program: Exercise and Sports Sciences This study aimed to investigate the effect of a six-week integrated plyometric training model applied to football players on vertical jump performance. 60 male football players, 20% of whom were 16, 80% of whom were 17 and 18 years old, participated in the study. 30 athletes were divided into experimental group and 30 athletes were divided into control group. Integrated training method including plyometric exercises was applied to the 30-person experimental group during the six-week training period. No intervention was applied to the control group. Integrated plyometric training was applied to the experimental group 2 days a week for six weeks. Trainings were applied as general warm-up, dynamic warm-up and integrated plyometric training. Exercises consisted of 3 sets. 1 minute rest was given between sets. First and last test results showed that the vertical jump performance of the study group increased by 6,97 cm. The vertical jump performance of the control group decreased by 0,27 cm. As a result, it was seen that the six-week integrated plyometric training model applied to the experimental group increased vertical jump performance. The control group, to which the training model was not applied, showed a decrease in vertical jump performance when the pre-test and post-test difference was examined. In the light of these results, it can be said that this integrated plyometric training model will be an example for sports scientists and athletes working in this field.
