Recently, an effect of a single set of exercise is shown to have positive effects on mood and on cognitive functioning. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of a single bout of moderate exercise on the brain electrophysiological dynamics in resting-state condition and under the mental workload situation from elite-level athletes. For this purpose, electroencephalogram (EEG) is measured before and after the exercise sessions from 17 elite karate players who are members of the national karate team of Turkey. Blood lactate measurements are implemented to monitor the volunteers before EEG measurements. EEG data are analyzed using three metrics: conventional band power of each electrode, coherence metrics between electrodes for each band and source coherence values corresponding to each frequency band. Each metric is statistically analyzed between pre- and post-values, and results revealed that in all frequency bands, right parietal electrode had increased connection values which are thought to be related to ongoing sympathetic nervous system response observed during the recovery period. Another finding is the enhanced connectivity of frontal sources under the resting state as well as during the increased mental workload periods.Article The Acute Effects of Various Dynamic Stretching Exercises on Jump Performance and Range of Motion(Universidad de Murcia, 2025) Savaan, Mustafa; Pmar, Yeliz; Pmar, SalihThis study aimed to investigate the acute effects of different dynamic stretching (DS) protocols on vertical jump performance and range of motion (ROM). Thirty healthy male participants, with an average age of 23.48 years, body weight of 76.90 kg, and height of 181.87 cm, who had engaged in recreational exercise for at least two years, participated voluntarily. A "cross-controlled randomized" experimental design was utilized to assess four distinct DS protocols: a-DS at 100 bpm for 30", b-DS at 100 bpm for 75" s, c-DS at 150 bpm for 30", and d-DS at 150 bpm for 75". Acute ROM was measured using the Passive Straight Leg Raise Test (PSLR), while jump performance was assessed via countermovement jump (CMJ). Data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA and paired samples T-tests with significance set at p<.05. All four DS techniques significantly increased angles measured by PSLR following application (p <.05). CMJ values also showed significant improvements in both groups subjected to the shorter protocols lasting 30"at either tempo (p <.05). Consideration should be given to application duration and tempo when planning DS exercises, as structured warmup routines can enhance flexibility and optimize athletic performance.Article Adsorption Mechanisms, Kinetics and Photoactivities of Green Synthesized Hydroxyapatite Supported Zno and La-Zno Catalysts(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2024) Tuncel Turan, Duygu; Okte, A. Neren; Temel Eczacılık Bilimleri BölümüIn this study, hydroxyapatite (HAP) is synthesized by a co-precipitation method from the waste eggshell, utilized as a support for ZnO (ZnO-HAP) and La-ZnO (La-ZnO-HAP) and employed to degrade methyl orange (MO) and methylene blue (MB) dyes under UV irradiation. Water vapor adsorption as relative humidity (84 % RH) on the HAP structure and the as-prepared catalysts are also examined. The characteristic ZnO and HAP reflections are detected in X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis of ZnO-HAP, La-ZnO-HAP and humidified samples. ZnO and La-ZnO existence is also verified by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) analysis, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance (UV-Vis DRS) spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS). ZnO and La-ZnO loading on the HAP induce the formation of mesoporous structures with high surface areas. Dark adsorption capacities and photoactivities of the as-prepared samples are explored regarding electrostatic interactions, Lewis acid-base interactions and hydrogen bonding for both MO and MB. In particular, La-ZnO-HAP 500 degrees C and La-ZnO-HAP 500 degrees C (RH) exhibit improved adsorption abilities and photoactivities. The pseudo-second order model describes the kinetic behavior of all samples under dark conditions. Unhumidified samples follow Langmuir isotherm while Freundlich isotherm better fits humidified ones. Under irradiation, the Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic model describes the photoactivities of all samples. The four recycling tests confirm the stabilities of HAP 100 degrees C, HAP 500 degrees C, ZnO-HAP 500 degrees C and La-ZnO-HAP 500 degrees C. This study suggests that the ZnO or La-ZnO loaded HAP catalysts prepared in the presence and absence of humid conditions are considered promising materials for environmental remediation.Article Advances in Ferritin Biosensors: Rapid and Cost-Effective Iron Level Assessment(Field Crops Central Research Institute, 2025) Vonalioglu, Sena; Okur, Muhammed Daghan; Üstünsoy, Recep; Ertaş, Tahsin; Dinç, BircanIron is an essential element crucial for oxygen transport in the bloodstream; however, deviations from its normal physiological levels can result in health complications. Iron deficiency is a widespread condition and a leading cause of anemia globally. Conversely, excessive iron accumulation can cause severe liver damage, such as cirrhosis, by exacerbating oxidative stress. Consequently, assessing iron status through biomarkers like ferritin, which is a protein that reflects the body’s iron stores, is critical for diagnosing iron-related disorders accurately. The ferritin test, which measures the concentration of ferritin protein in the blood, is a standard method for iron analysis. However, frequent hospital visits for such testing can be both time-intensive and expensive. This has driven significant interest in developing rapid and cost-effective methods for ferritin detection. To meet this demand, a variety of biosensors have been designed using diverse techniques to enable convenient ferritin analysis. Despite considerable advancements in biosensor technologies, a comprehensive classification and analysis of these devices remain lacking, leaving researchers without a unified understanding of their comparative strengths and limitations. This review addresses this gap by systematically categorizing ferritin biosensors based on their underlying mechanisms. The review explores electrochemical biosensors, such as those based on graphene, microfluidics, and ZnO–Mn3O4 nanocomposites, as well as electrical biosensors using quantum dots or gold nanorods. Additionally, optical biosensors, including photonic crystal sensors, surface plasmon resonance systems and magnesium sulfide nanosheets are discussed in detail. Unconventional and immunoassay-based biosensors, such as nanodiamond-based magnetic sensors and nanowire FETs, are also examined to highlight the breadth of detection strategies available. With the rising prevalence of iron-related disorders and the limitations of traditional diagnostic tools, this review underscores the critical need for portable, rapid, and cost-effective ferritin biosensing technologies, offering insights relevant to both clinical practice and future research. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.Article Ameliorative Effects of Myrtus Communis L. (MC) extract on a high fat diet (HFD)-induced testicular injury in a rat model were investigated using histological and biochemical methods. Wistar albino rats were divided into three groups: a standard diet control group; a HFD group; and an HFD+MC group. The HFD and HFD+MC groups were fed with a HFD for 16 weeks. MC extract (100 mg/kg) was given orally five days a week to the rats in the HFD+MC group during the last four weeks of the experiment. Leptin, triglyceride, high-density lipoproteins, cholesterol, estrogen, testosterone, LH and FSH were analyzed in blood serum. Sperm parameters were evaluated from the epididymis. Testicular morphology, proliferative, apoptotic and NADPH oxidase-2 (NOX2)-positive cells were evaluated histologically. Testicular oxidative stress parameters were analyzed biochemically. In the HFD group, lipid and hormone profiles were changed, abnormal spermatozoa, degenerated seminiferous tubules with apoptotic and NOX2-positive cells were increased in number, and sperm motility and germinal proliferative cells decreased compared to the control group. Moreover, testicular malondialdehyde, 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine and myeloperoxidase levels increased, whereas glutathione and superoxide dismutase levels decreased in the HFD group compared to the control group. All these histological and biochemical features were ameliorated by MC treatment of HFD-fed rats. In conclusion, HFD caused alterations in sperm parameters and testicular morphology by increasing oxidative damage and apoptosis. MC extract may have potential protective effects by inhibiting oxidative damage.Article Analyzing Critical Success Factors of Sustainable Knowledge Management: an Interval-Valued Neutrosophic Approach(Mdpi, 2024) Çaloğlu Büyükselçuk, Elif; Bulak, Muhammet Enis; Buyukselcuk, Elif Caloglu; Endüstri Mühendisliği BölümüKnowledge management (KM) is a structured approach that includes the organized procedures of generating, capturing, arranging, storing, retrieving, distributing, and harnessing an organization's knowledge resources to attain its goals and improve its effectiveness. Encountering uncertainty and managing imprecise information are fundamental aspects of KM that cannot be avoided. In this context, sustainable KM aims to solve these issues and address prioritizing the long-term sustainability and efficiency of knowledge-related processes within an organization. The aim of this study is to structure a sustainable KM concept for organizations and identify the most common critical success factors (CSFs) with a novel analytical approach. In this context, the Interval-Valued Neutrosophic methodology, which is one of the multi-criteria decision methods (MCDMs), was adopted to evaluate and weight the determined CSFs. Four main headings-KM, environmental, economical, and social criteria-are evaluated along with their subfactors. Our findings show that KM is found to be the most important, and environmental factors followed KM. When the results are examined in terms of subfactors, cleaner production is found to be the most significant, with a global weight value of 11.13.Article Anti-Lipid Accumulation and Antioxidant Effects of the Root Extract From Rubus Discolor and Its Phytochemical Analysis(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2025) Şekerler, T.; Gülmez, G.; Algül, K.F.; Göger, F.; Şenkardeş, İ.; Şen, A.; Şener, A.Rubus species exhibit potent antioxidant properties due to their high phenolic compound content. In our study, phytochemical composition of the extract obtained from roots of Rubus discolor (RDE) was determined using LC-MS/MS. Subsequently, effect of this extract on lipid accumulation was investigated in HepG2 liver cells. For this purpose, HepG2 cells were treated with oleic acid to induce lipid accumulation. The effect of RDE on lipid accumulation was assessed using Oil-Red staining and measuring intracellular triglyceride, cholesterol levels. Melatonin was used as a positive control. Enzymes involved in lipid synthesis, including acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC1), fatty acid synthase (FAS), and transcription factor sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP-1c), as well as the antioxidant status, were evaluated by RT-PCR. As dose-dependent, RDE significantly reduced lipid accumulation and each concentrations (25, 50, 100 µg/mL) of RDE showed 78%, 48%, 38% ratio, respectively for Oil Red O staining. TG was found 1.92 ± 0.03, 1.76 ± 0.40, 1.22 ± 0.13, 1.41 ± 0.08 mg/mg protein for oleic acid and each concentrations (25, 50, 100 µg/mL) of RDE, respectively It significantly suppressed ACC1, FAS, and SREBP-1c (p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p < 0.01, respectively) at a dose of 50 µg/mL. The extract also exhibited in vitro strong antioxidant and good anti-inflammatory properties. Pedunculagin isomer, ellagic acid and ellagic acid pentoside compounds were found to be the main compounds of RDE with high total phenolic content. The results indicate that RDE has the potential to prevent lipid accumulation. These findings could provide a basis for further studies on the potential therapeutic effect of Rubus discolor in the treatment of NAFLD. © The Author(s) 2025.Article Aqueous Parsley (Petroselinum Crispum) Extract Ameliorated Methotrexate-Induced Brain and Small Intestine Damage in Rats(Ankara Univ, 2025) Dursun, Ercan; Karaoglu, Sumeyye Yilmaz; Sivas, Guzin Goksun; Tufan, Elif; Sacan, Ozlem; Yanardag, Refiye; Akbay, Tugba TunaliMethotrexate (MTX) is a widely used antiarthritic and chemotherapeutic agent known to cause damage to various tissues. This study investigated the potential protective effects of parsley extract against MTX-induced brain and intestinal tissue damage. Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into control, control + parsley, MTX, and MTX + parsley. MTX (20 mg/kg, i.p.) was administered to the MTX and MTX + parsley groups. The control + parsley, and MTX + parsley groups were administered 2 g/kg parsley extract by oral gavage for five consecutive days. After the fifth day, brain and small intestinal tissues were taken. Total protein, nitric oxide, lipid peroxidation, glutathione levels, tissue factor, superoxide dismutase, and glutathione S-transferase activities were determined in these tissues. The protein profiles of the tissues were evaluated using SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Parsley administration caused a decrease in lipid peroxidation levels in both tissues of the MTX group. On the other hand, glutathione level, glutathione-Stransferase, and superoxide dismutase activities were found to be increased. On the other hand, parsley decreased the nitric oxide level which was increased in the intestinal tissues of the MTX group. There was no significant change in brain nitric oxide level and tissue factor activity between groups. MTX and parsley administration altered protein expression, leading to the appearance or disappearance of specific bands in intestinal and brain tissues. In conclusion, parsley alleviated MTX-induced damage in brain and intestinal tissues by reducing lipid peroxidation and modulating antioxidant defenses.Article Are Child and Parent Health Behaviors Associated With Childhood Obesity? a Descriptive and Methodological Study(Elsevier Science inc, 2023) Öztürk, Gizem; Kolcu, Merve; Hemşirelik BölümüPurpose: This study was conducted to determine the relationship between child and parents' health behaviors and childhood obesity. In addition, an adaptation of the Turkish version of the Family Health Behavior Scale (FHBS) was performed in this study.Design and methods: This is a descriptive and methodological study. The research sample consisted of 358 parents who have a child between the ages of 5 and 12 studying in one of the seven state schools at the kindergarten, primary, and secondary school levels in Istanbul. Data were collected between February 2022 to May 2022 using the Parent and Child Descriptive Information Form, the Family Nutrition and Physical Activity (FNPA) Screening Tool, and the FHBS. IBM SPSS 25.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA) and SPSS AMOS 21.0 software were used to analyze the data.Results: It was found that the confirmatory factor analysis result of FHBS confirmed the original structure of the scale, and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated as 0.80. A positive correlation was found between the parents' total scores of FNPA and FHBS (r:0.511, p < 0.001).Conclusions: It is recommended to evaluate the child and their parents holistically in preventing and managing childhood obesity. School health nurses should plan family-centered interventions to improve health behaviors and carry out these interventions with a multidisciplinary team. Moreover, it has been determined that FHBS is a valid and reliable measurement tool for the Turkish population.Article Assessment of Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy in Nursing Mothers Following Earthquakes: A Case Study of the Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes in Turkey(Kashan Univ Medical Sciences, 2025) Dinmez, Sinem Guven; Karaman, Ozen Esra; Bakir, EmineBackground: Natural disasters disproportionately impact vulnerable populations, particularly mothers and infants. Research indicates that during such events, mothers often favor formula and supplementary feeding over breastfeeding. Self-efficacy is a critical determinant influencing breastfeeding practices in disaster contexts.
Objectives: This study aimed to examine the breastfeeding characteristics and self-efficacy of nursing mothers following the Kahramanmara & scedil; earthquakes.
Methods: This descriptive study was conducted at the Children's Polyclinic of Iskenderun State Hospital in Turkey from August 1 to August 31, 2023. A total of 54 mothers with infants aged 0-1 year at the time of the earthquake, who continued to breastfeed (providing breast milk for at least one feeding), were selected using a non-probability purposive sampling method. During the study period, all eligible mothers visiting the polyclinic who met the inclusion criteria were evaluated. Data were collected using a "Descriptive Data Form" and the "Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Short Form Scale". Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS version 23, employing Independent Samples t-tests, Mann-Whitney U tests, and One-Way ANOVA for group comparisons. A P-value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
Results: The mean breastfeeding self-efficacy score among mothers was 58 +/- 5.87 (minimum 40; maximum 70). Mothers who exclusively breastfed their infants had significantly higher self-efficacy scores compared to those who introduced formula (P = 0.021) Among the mothers surveyed, 81.5% reported that their breastfeeding was affected by the earthquake; 41% cited issues related to privacy, while 27% faced challenges regarding shelter. Prior to the earthquake, 72% of infants were exclusively breastfed; however, this figure decreased as 81.5% of infants began receiving complementary foods alongside breast milk post-earthquake.
Conclusion: The findings indicate that mothers breastfeeding self-efficacy is at a moderate level. Additionally, mothers reported alterations in their breastfeeding practices compared to the pre-earthquake period. These results underscore the importance of promoting breastfeeding in disaster-affected areas and highlight the critical role of midwives in supporting these efforts.Article Assessment of Cross-Cultural Adaptations and Patient-Reported Outcome Measures Relevant To Shoulder Disorders in Turkish: a Systematic Review Using the Cosmin Methodology(Public Library Science, 2025) Isiklar, Cagdas; Sirma, Gamze Cagla; Turgut, ElifBackground There are many shoulder assessment outcome measures in the literature that have been studied for validity and reliability. However, there is no study examining the Turkish-adapted patient outcome measures (PROMs) on the shoulder according to the COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) checklist. In addition, there is a small number of studies that carry out this examination on the shoulder internationally. Determining the most appropriate questionnaires for clinical use will also be an important guide in patient evaluation by filling the gap in both literature and clinical aspects.Objective Our aim in this study is to identify the valid and reliable Turkish scales used to evaluate shoulder pain and disability, to reveal how compatible these scales are with the aspects of study quality and psychometric quality according to COSMIN criteria list.Methods A systematic search was performed in the following electronic databases: MED-LINE, Web of Science (WOS), EMBASE, SCOPUS, and ULAKBIM were searched from inception to September 2024.Results A total of 2890 articles were found in the databases. Four articles were included additionally without a search. Then, after eliminating the duplicates, 2231 articles were included based on the title and abstract search. 63 articles were included in full-text review. After the full-text review, according to our criteria, 29 articles were included in the systematic review. According to the assessment by the COSMIN checklist, 28 articles received the final classification of "inadequate". Only 1 article (UCLA-Tr) received the final classification of "adequate".Conclusion There is a wide range of Turkish PROMs available for the shoulder, with only one fully meeting COSMIN methodology criteria. However, this does not imply that other PROMs lack clinical utility. Future studies should focus on refining PROMs by incorporating MCID and PASS scores and prioritizing their responsiveness to enhance their clinical relevance. Additionally, variations in PROM performance across different patient populations highlight the need for context-specific evaluations to ensure their applicability in diverse clinical settings.Trial registration PROSPERO registration number: CRD42022298425.Article Assessment of the Psychometric Properties of the Online Education Student Satisfaction Scale: a Methodological Study(Springer Publishing Company, 2024) Harmancı Seren, A.K.; Alan, H.; Türkmen, E.; Gungor, S.; Baykal, Ü.Background and Purpose: Assessing student satisfaction is essential in evaluating the quality of education. The number of valid and reliable tools that measure students’ satisfaction with online education is limited. This methodological study aimed to assess the psychometric properties of the online education student satisfaction scale. Methods: Eleven academicians from the nursing field provided expert opinions on content validity. Separate 25 students evaluated the language clarity of the draft scale. The study sample included 525 third- and fourth-year nursing students. Finally, a group of 30 nursing students different from the sample participated in the test–retest. The study created an item pool based on the recent literature. The researchers calculated the items’ content validity rates and the scale’s content validity index by taking the experts’ opinions. In addition, item–total score correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis, discrimination analysis, stability test, and internal consistency analysis were performed. Results: An item with a low-correlation value was excluded from the scale. The correlation coefficients of the remaining items were between.536 and.811. In the second round of exploratory factor analysis, a five-factor structure emerged that explained 72.1% of the total variance. In addition, item discrimination, stability, and internal consistency test results ensured that the scale was valid and reliable. Conclusions: The online education student satisfaction scale with five subdimensions containing 28 items is a valid and reliable tool. Recent studies have revealed that videos on YouTube (TM) are misleading or that medical videos may not contain appropriate information. This study aimed to assess the quality and reliability of videos on nutrition after bariatric surgery. Materials and Methods The keywords "after bariatric surgery diet" and "weight loss surgery postop diet" were used, and the first 100 videos for each keyword on YouTube (TM) were analyzed by considering the source, duration, content, and the number of likes of the video. The popularity of the video was calculated using the video power index (VPI) and view rate. The educational quality of the videos was evaluated using the DISCERN score, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) score, the Global Quality Score (GQS), the usefulness score, and a novel postoperation nutrition score (PONS). Results One hundred fourteen patients were included in the study. The mean duration and number of views were 12.51 min and 87,558.46, respectively. The DISCERN score, JAMA score, GQS, and usefulness score of the physicians or dietician-based videos were significantly higher than those of the patient-based videos (p < 0.001). Positive correlations were found between the VPI and view ratio, as well as between the duration and number of likes. Additionally, the DISCERN score was significant correlated with the duration and number of likes. Significantly positive correlations were found between the usefulness score and duration, usefulness score and number of likes, and PONS and duration (p < 0.01). Conclusions Informational videos on nutrition after bariatric surgery on YouTube (TM) are of low quality. Although the videos uploaded by physicians and dieticians have higher quality, only a few are available. Additionally, patients prefer to watch low-quality videos.Article Avatar: a Film at the Center of the Feminine Other(Univ Pittsburgh, Univ Library System, 2025) Dereboyu, Pelin Guregen; Guzel, Ebru; Olaru, Gabriela Oana; Ayberk, ErhanThis study analyzes James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar from the perspective of the feminine other through deconstruction. In the movie, nature and the Na'vi people are depicted as feminine, while modern man and the science, technology, and military power he represents are portrayed as masculine. Although it critiques the colonialist structure of modernity, the film's narrative structure and character portrayals indicate that it reproduces the superiority of Western-centered ideology and the masculine mind. The study analyzes how the film's narrative and character representations implicitly support masculine centrism. The analysis reveals how nature and marginalized cultures are romanticized and presented in the film and how the notion that the feminine can only survive by adopting masculine traits is processed in the subtext. Grounded in a conceptual and theoretical framework, this research focuses on the sustainability of the patriarchal capitalist system and gender politics while critically examining how cinema reconstructs ideological structures through the narratives in the film.Article Balance Training in Modern Dancers Proprioceptive-Neuromuscular Training Vs Kinesio Taping(Science & Medicine inc, 2018) Tekin, Demet; Agopyan, Ani; Baltaci, Gul; Terapi ve Rehabilitasyon BölümüKinesio tape and proprioceptive exercises are both used for increasing balance in dancers. The purposes of this study were to: a) determine the acute effect of kinesio tape (KT) application on the ankle joint on balance performance, b) investigate the effects of an 8-week proprioceptive-neuromuscular (PN) training program on balance performance, and c) compare their effects vs modern dance technique classes alone. Thirty-three trained, university-level modern dance students (9 male, 24 female) were divided randomly into three groups: kinesio tape (KT, n=11), proprioceptive-neuromuscular (PN, n=11), or control (n=11). Static (turn-out passe-opened eyes/releve and turn-out passe-closed eyes/flat foot), semi-dynamic (airplane), and dynamic balance (monopodalic-straight and -transverse in a turn-out passe-eyes opened/flat foot) tests were performed before and after the intervention. One day after pre-tests, KT mechanical correction technique was applied to the left ankle joint (supporting leg) in the KT group, and tests were repeated to determine the acute effect of KT. The PN group participated in an 8-week balance training program (2 days/wk, 60 min/day) involving exercises using stable and unstable surfaces. Significant improvements were observed for all static and dynamic balance tests in the PN group; semi-dynamic airplane and dynamic monopodalic-straight and transverse tests improved in the KT group; and only semi-dynamic airplane test scores changed significantly for the control group (p<0.05). Global companies create new trends focused on vanity and pleasure in social media that follow the patriarchal capitalist ideology. Motherhood has also been included in this process, and “perfect motherhood,” as an extension to new generation motherhood, has been popularized on social media. Perfect motherhood requires mothers who are responsible for looking after children and the home to also be successful in their professional and personal lives while looking beautiful, young, chic, sexy, and fit. Recently the celebrification of motherhood, which can be seen on Instagram, became another quality added to the requirements of being a perfect mother. Heightened during the new post-COVID times, the “Instamom” phenomenon conceals the fact that women are driven to more states of increased precarity and vulnerability, alongside unemployment, exploitation, and ecological and economic crises. This study analyzes the perfect motherhood myth through Instamom case studies and attempts to show how Instamoms are perceived by mothers and mothers-to-be. By adopting the digital ethnography method, 30 Instamom accounts (with followers ranging from 135,000 to 3.5 million) in Turkey were observed for a year via passive participant observations. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with six Instamoms and 12 follower mothers and mothers-to-be. In conclusion, it was discovered that Instamoms were perceived by their followers as exemplars of knowledge and beauty. Furthermore, the study revealed that both groups were part of the celebrification and branding process, and those who shared knowledge based on experience were considered sincere and created a bigger impression on their followers. It was also discovered that when sharing on social media, these Instamoms attempted to look their best. This recommendation paper was generated by a multidisciplinary team, using the seven-step process and a three-modified Delphi round via e-mail. Firstly, 15 open-ended questions were created, and then detailed recommendations including general principles, management, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and follow-up were created with the answers from these questions, Each recommendation item was voted on by the experts as overall consensus (strong recommendation), approaching consensus (weak recommendation), and divergent consensus (not recommended).In the first Delphi round, a questionnaire consisting of 413 items evaluated with a scale of 0-10 was prepared from the opinions and suggestions given to 15 open-ended questions. In the second Delphi round, 55.4% were accepted and revised suggestions were created. At the end of the third Delphi round, the revised suggestion form was approved again and the final proposals containing 133 items were created. Following stricter building codes, the district underwent significant demolition and construction between 2014 and 2015. We employ construction data and credit card transaction data to analyze the demographic changes. We find that urban regeneration due to building renewal may have diverse context-dependent effects on the demographic tapestry of communities, their culture and history. While some neighborhoods showed positive response to increased local amenities and resulted in reduced mobility outside their local area, leading to greater income segregation from the rest of the city, others behaved in the opposite direction. Similarly, the transformation process has attracted a more educated and higher-income inflow of residents in some neighborhoods compared to others. Herein, we employ new big data and mobility-driven metrics from computational social science such as diversity, loyalty and assortativity to reveal the link between urban regeneration and segregation. Carvacrol (CAR), which can easily cross the blood-brain barrier, exhibits neuroprotective properties due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic effects. In the present study, we have examined the effect of CAR treatment on learning-memory impairment in a post-menopausal hypertensive rat model that was induced by ovariectomy following two-kidney, one-clip renovascular hypertension surgery. From the third week after the establishment of renovascular hypertension in ovariectomized rats, CAR (40 mg/kg) was administered once daily for consecutive 7 weeks by gastric gavage. Systolic blood pressure was estimated by the tail-cuff method once a week. At the end of the study, cognitive functions were evaluated with behavioral tests and also neurochemical changes were measured in serum, cortex, and hippocampus by ELISA test. Blood pressure was decreased with CAR treatment in hypertensive rats. Serum estrogen levels decreased in ovariectomized rats and did not change with CAR treatment. CAR demonstrated beneficial effects on learning and memory tests as determined by increased recognition index, the number of platforms crossed, and time spent in the target quadrant. Due to CAR treatment, there was a marked reduction in the hippocampal and cortex amyloid-beta, osteopontin, interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha levels, and acetylcholinesterase activity, while an increment in neprilysin and interleukin-10 levels was found. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are a specific group of stem cells that have the potential to be used most often in regenerative medicine. In addition to MSCs, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are used in regenerative medicine for cancer treatment.
